 Bocage Renovations was established in France in 2006 by Eifion Goosey. Ave, as he his known to his friends and customers, has lived and worked in France since 1997 after deciding to migrate from the UK. Ave and his wife Cathy have owned a property in France since 1988 and decided that they enjoyed their time in France so much that they wanted to stay permanently.
Ave has worked within the building industry since he was just sixteen, starting his career in the UK as a labourer and trainee bricklayer, as which he qualified. During the next seven years Ave was to be involved in building many new houses where he would gain experience in all of the other major facets of home construction, including electrics, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, etc.
At the age of twenty three Ave decided to establish his own company which went on to specialise mostly in the refitting and refurbishment of large office blocks. Ave gained a great deal of experience in all trades, and his business was to be established for twenty years. At one time Ave was employing 36 tradesmen.
In 1997 Ave and his wife Cathy moved to France and they spent the first year renovating their own property.
From 1998 Ave was to be employed on short term contracts with a few different French companies and carried out various works including the installation of Fosse septiques, general building, masonry, and tiling, which is one of the many trades in which Ave specialises.
From 2001 until 2006 Ave was employed by Roger Guezet a reputable French building company. Ave spent his time building new houses and undertook all major building work including blockwork/brickwork, flooring, building staircases, laying driveways etc. It was here that Ave gained his experience and understanding of French building practices and regulations.
In 2006 Ave formed "Bocage Renovations" and has gone on to establish himself a reputation for owning a first class and reliable building company with many satisfied customers.
